ABOUT MIKE

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to look through my images.

I'm an impressionist and landscape photographer with a particular interest in motion and long exposure images (anything from a half second through to several minutes).

Many of my images capture motion - either where the subject itself is in motion (e.g. waves, foliage etc) or when the camera is intentionally moved during the exposure to give an illusion of movement.

The power of images fascinate me - both as an art form and a means of communication.

I work with both a modern medium format digital camera (typically paired with vintage 1960s lenses) and a variety of film cameras including a 1950s folding Mamiya 6 camera (6x6) and a Linhof 612PCii Panoramic camera (6x12).

Born in the UK in 1969, I've been living in Israel for the last 32 years. I'm married with four boys.

Museum-quality, limited edition prints are available for purchase. I produce, inspect and sign each print individually.
