Hebridean Morning (2023) was captured in a single long exposure on the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland looking west towards mainland Scotland (not visible in the image). The tide is out and rocks and seaweed are visible in the foreground with the sea further back and the outlines of the small island of Hellisay on the horizon. The camera was intentionally moved during the exposure to produce this painterly image.
