Misty Jetty II (2022) was captured on an unusually foggy August morning just after sunrise at Eoligarry Jetty on the Isle of Barra.
Normally, the Isle of Fuday would appear directly behind the marker just off the jetty. That morning, the fog was so thick that the sun, which a few seconds earlier had risen above Fuday, had difficulty appearing through the mist. The unusual weather produced a beautiful, minimalist, peaceful image.
